04/13/02 - Rangers 2, Rockies 1:  Sean Alvord pitched a one-hitter with 15 strikeouts and two walks for the Rangers. Nick Ventra and Alvord both had a hit. Weston Giles had a triple. In the fifth inning, Ventra and Giles each drew a walk and Alvord drove in the winning runs with a triple.

04/20/02 - Rangers 4, Orioles 3:  Sean Alvord pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts as the Rangers won the Major Division game. Alvord helped his own cause with a double, two-run triple and two runs.

04/23/02 - Rangers 7, Rockies 6:  Sean Alvord and Tyler Block combined to hold off the Rockies. Alvord hit two homers and a double to lead the Rangers. Alvord had five strikouts, two walks and gave up one hit in the victory.

04/30/02 - Rangers 1, Orioles 0:  Tyler Block and Nick Ventra combined on a shutout in the Major Division game. Ventra became the winning pitcher when Sean Alvord doubles in the bottom of the sixth and scored on Block's double.

05/11/02 - Rangers 8, Orioles 1:  Sean Alvord of the Simi Valley Baseball League Major Division Rangers pitched a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts in the 8-1 victory. Alvord walked four batters.

05/14/02 - Rangers 8, Orioles 4:  Sean Alvord was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts, one walk and one hit.
