Our AllStars started things out on the right foot by scoring first going up 1-0 as Jake
Whitaker singled in Sean Alvord. The game remained close until the third inning where
several things, including pitching and some bloop hits put La Crescenta up 10-2. In the
bottom of the 7th, they made a valiant effort at a come-back but fell short in the end.
Nick Ventra shut down La Crescenta in relief. Marcus Shelby went 3 for 4. Sean Alvord
went 2 for 3 and scored twice. Jake Whitaker went 2 for 4 and had 2 RBIs.

Our AllStars played extreemly well in this game. Jake Whitaker pitched a complete game
giving up only 1 run in 5 innings. The team played great defense and had some great
offensive performances including a banner game for Kyle Raskin. He went 3 for 3 with a
double and had an assist at home. Marcus Shelby and Casey Fuller also doubled. Jake
Whitaker went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs.

Still facing elimination our AllStars pulled off another great game. Pitching by
Austin Thiel and Kasey Fuller nailed things down for them defensively. On the offensive
side, another great hitting performance with good games from Kyle Raskin, Jake Whitaker
(3 for 4 with a double), Sean Alvord (3 for 5) and Jeremy Wolff (2 for 4 with a double)
and finished off Casey Fuller who went 2 for 5 with a 3-run homerun. Good going guys!

Our AllStars needed to win this game to get to the Championship game and they didn't
disappoint. They had solid pitching outings from Tyler Block, Nick Ventra and Austin
Thiel. Nick came in with the bases loaded and no outs and proceeded to strike out 2
of 3. With the game tied at 1, they loaded the bases and Sean Alvord hit a Grand Slam
Homerun to put them up 5-1. After both sides scored 1 Austin Thiel closed the game out
Gagne-style giving them a 6-2 victory! Offensive leaders today included Austin Thiel
(2 for 3), Brian Noss (2 for 3) and Sean Alvord (1 for 3 with the Grand Slam).

Our AllStars got out of the gate running in the first knocking out La Crescenta's ace
with a 3-run first inning, highlighted by a 2-RBI double by Jake Whitaker. In the 2nd,
disaster struck as 3 errors led to an 8-run inning. They made another valiant attempt
at a comeback scoring 3 in the 6th, but that was it. Casey Fuller had a great pitching
effort in relief. Offensive leaders for this game included Kyle Raskin who was on base
4 of 5, Sean Alvord (3 for 5), Teddy Smoyer (2 for 4) and Brian Noss (2 for 4).
